Last summer, our Kamloops catering crew at Nourishing Gourmet had the privilege of providing food for the wedding of Courtney Mayer and Dustin Menard. The couple planned a perfect wedding and reception in Celista at the North Shuswap Community Hall. Our crew is well-equipped for providing exceptional wedding catering services, and we were looking forward to working for this lovely couple on their special day on the shores of Shuswap Lake.
It turned out to be a perfect, sunny day at Shuswap Lake. While some residents of Celista were taking the beautiful day out on their boats, our team was getting ready to serve a beautifully prepared meal the Courtney, Dustin, and their wedding guests.
Our chefs prepared a meal of Slow Roasted Baron of Beef, Paprika Herb Roasted Chicken, Buttery Mashed Potatoes, and so much more. This wedding party had gone all out on the food, which made for a fun time for our catering team!
Courtney and Dustin’s families worked hard to plan an exquisite reception dinner at The North Shuswap Community Hall. Not only was it nice and cool, but the naturally earthy look of the building’s interior with all of its gleaming wood harmonized perfectly with the gorgeous décor and fabulous clothing choices for the wedding party.
We were delighted that Courtney and Dustin ordered desserts and midnight snacks. If there’s anything we love as much as providing a great and memorable meal, it’s providing great-looking and great-tasting desserts. The couple, party, and guests enjoyed a dessert that included chocolate cupcakes, carrot cupcakes, a fruit tray, cheesecakes and more. As you may expect, there were smiles all around at dessert time.
The group’s midnight snack was a great option: pulled pork sliders, buns, and a meat and cheese tray. As with everything we provided that night, this snack was well-received by all who had enough space left to eat it!
We were grateful to be a part of Courtney and Dustin’s wedding on the Shuswap. We had a great time catering their wedding. Wedding catering is what our crew loves, and it’s what we do best. Our passion is providing wedding catering services in Kamloops, the Shuswap and anywhere else nearby that shine as brightly as the smiles of the bride and groom.
